Lynne McCadden

With more than 25 years senior professional and executive experience across a wide range of media environments, Lynne currently runs her own training and consultancy company, Morra Ltd, which works with a range of public and private clients in the media and digital sectors.

She was formerly Director of Skills and New Projects at Northwest Vision+ Media, the organisation which worked on behalf of the digital and creative industries in the North West of England. Previous to this role, Lynne spent six years as Chief Executive of Media Training North West, the region’s leading media skills and training provider.

Lynne is a trained journalist beginning her career as a reporter with the Belfast Telegraph, NI’s daily evening newspaper, in 1980 and later moved to the BBC where she worked in the newsroom as a reporter and producer.

In 1988 she became a BBC presenter for Radio Sussex in Brighton and two years later moved to Manchester as a producer for BBC Radio 5. In the following nine years she worked for BBC TV and radio on a range of current affairs and documentary programmes.
