Rhian Roberts is Head of Development at BBC Radio 5 live and 5 live 
Sports Extra. She has been part of the senior management team at the 
station since 2005.

Her role includes strategy and governance for the station as well as 
partnership work inside and outside the BBC. She recently worked with 
the BBC Philharmonic to produce Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode's Film 
review with the orchestra and was also responsible for the Jacqui Smith 
documentary 'Porn Again'. Before joining 5 live HQ Rhian was a senior 
programme editor at 5 live and launched programmes with Adrian Chiles 
and Fi Glover. She's worked across much of the BBC's news programmes, 
including Newsnight and the World At One and PM.
