The Conference was organised by Luise Nandy and coordinated by Ruth Heritage. The University of Salford provided staff support and volunteers for the day.

MMArts and The Lowry provided technical support for the event.

The sessions were produced by Ray Fitzwalter, Opportunity Knocks; Denis Mooney, Commissioning and how to crack it; Sandy Ross, The Hit Machine; Roy Saatchi, New Technology: New Markets; Geoff Moore, The Rise of the Super Indies; and John McManus, The Future is Here, The Future is Local.

The Conference has an steering committee which met on a regular monthly basis made up of representatives from the IMC, University, NWDA, the independent sector, BBC, Scottish Television, North West Vision, The Research Centre for Television and Interactivity, and Ofcom.
