Sponsors of the 2006 Conference
The 2006 Television from the Nations & Regions Conference was organised by the International Media Centre at the University of Salford and the North West Development Agency.

The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) is one of nine regional development agencies established by the government to develop the English regions.
The NWDA is responsible for the sustainable economic development and regeneration of England's Northwest and has 5 key priorities: Business Development, Regeneration, Skills and Employment, Infrastructure, and Image.
Our main role is to drive forward the economic regeneration of the region. We are advocates for the Northwest, forging a clear identity for the region, whilst supporting and maintaining partnerships, joining up initiatives and making the best use of the region's resources.
